Partners
The Kenya Urban Informal Settlements Project is built on an on-going partnership between the University of California, Berkeley, the University of Nairobi, Shack/Slum Dwellers' International, Muungano Support Trust, Akiba Mashinani Trust, and other civil society partners in Kenya. The team frequently meets in Kenya and in Berkeley to build the action research, teaching and advocacy partnership. We also work with local government, international organizations and foundations.
