Concern over the obesity epidemic and chronic diseases is driving an ever growing body of research on the links between the built environment, access to resources and health. With studies that range from access to park space and obesogenic environments to neighborhood walkability and design, the Center for Global Healthy Cities is a hotbed for research on the built environment, healthy eating and active living.
