The persistence of disparities in health outcomes between racial/ethnic and socioeconomic groups requires innovative research to guide policy responses. Our faculty unearths the complexities driving health inequalities through interdisciplinary research ranging in scales from individual embodiment of racism, to neighborhood level social and environmental factors, to fragmentation in municipal governments.
