Urban Gun Violence

Urban Gun Violence

Our research in Urban Gun Violence aims to evaluate and amplify community-led efforts to reduce urban gun violence. In particular, the CGHC serves as the lead evaluator of Advance Peace, a community-led urban gun violence reduction strategy. We also work to support community violence intervention (CVI) action-research and policy-making with cities and neighborhoods globally.

Current Research and Projects

Advance Peace (U.S. Cities)

Advance Peace (AP) is a community-based intervention that aims to reduce urban gun violence by engaging young people at the center of firearm hostilities and providing them with transformational opportunities to avoid conflict. We serve as the lead Impact Evaluator for the project.
